Background: Aéko is a green architecture company that creates environmentally friendly buildings and houses, taking care with materials, locations and construction processes to be as conscious as possible. This website targets potential buyers and customers.

Design core: The core feature is the relationship between the photography and illustrations. We worked around this concept to create a warm, human environment.

Favorite details: We are particularly proud of the decorative map that shows the region where Aéko can build. There are just a few public projects, but there will be more to come.

Time constraints: We began this project before the COVID crisis, and when everything shut down, we didn’t have any particular time constraints on creating the site. If we could start this project over considering all the time we had, we would have designed more interactive and animated illustrations.

Technology: We used Kirby for our back-end technology. For the front end, we used our basic recipe: barba.js and Locomotive Scroll—the perfect match for a smooth and clean result!
