For riders during the Golden Age of Cycling (1860–1905), the machine of choice was called the velocipede. These early bicycles were made entirely of wood and rattled their riders so much they came to be known as Boneshakers. Playing off the bone theme, our solution was a skull created with elaborate filigree composed of chains, gears, vines and a velocipede for the eyes. The label was embossed and printed with glow-in-the-dark ink.
