“Cate Blanchett, photographed in 2006 for Entertainment Weekly when she and Brad Pitt were promoting their movie Babel. Shooting at a press junket is always a worst-case scenario for a photographer. The actors are usually doing ten or more interviews or photo shoots in a day, leaving very little time, creativity and energy on their part. They’re understandably very tired and usually not very giving in those situations. But Cate and Brad were both so gracious, and clearly Cate was a wonderful subject and looks great on camera.”
