Fashion in Colors explores color as a design element through 300 years of Western clothing. Costumes were grouped by color and exhibited in separate rooms thoughout the mansion. Each color space was approached as a distinct environment informing the circulation, formal qualities of the platforms and the 'coloring' of the room. In collaboration with the lighting designer, a combination of paint, scrims and lighting were employed to saturate each space in color.
