“We worked with Karam—a foundation for Syrian refugees by Syrian refugees—to update its brand guidelines, messaging and experience strategy, along with a few tweaks to the identity system. As part of its mission, Karam, which means ‘radical generosity’ in Arabic, sells handcrafted goods to support women in Syria. The symbols and geometry of the wordmark and logo inform other aspects of the design system, which show up everywhere.”
