Background: Keus is a site that specializes in the sale of quality backpacks. The Keus team consists of designers and engineers, artists and stylists, photographers and audiovisual technicians—all of whom are committed to testing and selecting the best backpacks on the market. The horizontal scroll creates a unique experience, allowing users to enjoy the products and gain a rich understanding about each of them.
Highlights: For this project, we created the branding for Keus. So, for the web design, we aimed to generate a technical branding, creating a grid system with bold typography and a hint of pure blue.
Favorite details: The horizontal navigation that differs from a classic e-shop design, while still maintaining e-shop design rules. The background usually stays still, but we aimed for just playing with the form.
Navigational structure: The horizontal scroll is present everywhere on the site. Using WooCommerce, we reworked the display and use of filters. The product sheet has also been designed for storytelling.
Technical features: We used WordPress for the back-end and WooCommerce for the e-shop features. Also, the horizontal navigational feature was created with some Javascript magic from scratch.
