Late Edition by Bob Greene, a veteran Chicago columnist and author, offers a glowing tribute to the glory days of America's newspapers. "Originally, the idea was to find woodcut letters, assemble the concept, and have a photographer shoot it. However, due to time and budget constraints, other options were explored. I found several images of woodcut letters from Alamy Images and cut out each letter to form the copy on the cover. With a lot of precise Photoshopping and patience, the design came together without needing to spend the extra money for a photo shoot."
