They might be considered an anachronism in the west, but street photographers are a common sight in the squares of towns and cities all over Mexico and they remain popular with young couples. The photograph was taken outside the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City after he took my Polaroid. The photograph was used for promotion of the Schweppes exhibition, the 2005 entry form, a national portrait gallery postcard and was the front cover of the British Journal of Photography November 2004.
