Background: I’m a Turkish designer based in Zurich, Switzerland. I get inspired by novel ideas, original design and creativity, and my work has been varied—branding, print, apps, user experience/user interface, websites and digital tools—but always with a human-centered approach and a keen eye for detail. The target for my website are creative agencies, clients, designers and anyone who likes design work.

Highlights: One of my core ideas was minimalism. There are also typography and cool animations, which give soul to the site, and of course, some little user interface elements. For example, on the desktop site, when users move their mice over the homepage, they see a liquid effect. And on the mobile site, when users move the phone from side to side, they also see the same liquid effect. While it took some time to make this, my developer friend Michaël Garcia did a really great job. He has great talent and an eye for development.

Technical features: The site and home page transitions were created using WebGL and Pixij, both of which are complicated software. While it took some time, we managed to make it organic and smooth.

Anything new: Once again, I saw how important it was that the web designs we make have to work on mobile devices as well, since most users have mobile devices. And of course, we have to make sure it doesn’t lose the soul it has on the desktop version.

Alternative approach: If I could design my site again, I would look for new technologies so people could experience new things. For me, it is very important to show users what they can’t see everyday. And it’s very important to keep it up-to-date since everything changes so quickly inside the digital world.
