"Summertime, Fallen Leaf Lake. For a cover shoot for Outside magazine, creative director Hannah McCaughey had wanted to shoot a picture to celebrate summertime and the carefree attitude that it invoked. I had this idea in my head. Growing up in the South as a kid, this is what we did after fishing. The Lake Tahoe area is a grand place to shoot. The weather was fabulous and the light could not have been better. This ended up being Hannah's all-time favorite cover."
