The Studio brings the work of some of the most coveted creators of illustration, design, fashion and music from across the globe to PlayStation audiences worldwide. Each artist creates an original work which is then digitized into static and dynamic downloadable themes for PlayStation devices. London-based design duo Rob Gonzalez and Jonathan Quainton created this “dramatic, stark, serene, and cosmic” theme, which, on close inspection, offers a playful take on the immersive world of gaming. “We both grew up playing computer games and felt we could create a nostalgic piece of artwork that other people could enjoy whilst using the main menu navigation of their PlayStation.”
