The Southern Florida Wetland stamp pane is the eighth design in the Nature of America series, which promotes appreciation of plant and animal communities in the United States. Issued in 2006, this pane illustrates the diversity of species found in a subtropical wetland. Noted wildlife artist John Dawson created the scene shown on the pane, depicting more than twenty different kinds of plants and animals. Acrylic on illustration board.
