“A book cover design for a new Penguin edition of Tender Is the Night, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The art director suggested I focus on the early part of this novel, which is set in the French Riviera. The goal was to create something slightly foreboding to allude to the tragedy and unraveling of the characters that comes later in the book.”
