Background: In 2021, Ukraine celebrates its 30th anniversary of independence. Our team decided to create something special, something like a declaration of love. As a result, we designed this beautiful website that tells interesting stories of well-known Ukrainian things with our custom font. This site is a message to all Ukrainians and all who love our country.

Favorite details: First of all, our font is our honor. In the future, we’re going to release the whole alphabet. Also, we wrote a poem and came up with all the content, processing photos and other visual elements in the same style to make the website holistic.

Challenges: The timeframe. This project was being created in parallel with other commercial projects, and we only had one month from the idea to launch. Also, we tried to fit as many interesting details as we could onto a small site and dive into everyone’s soul.

Special navigational features: The whole site is one small story with cool animations. It has horizontal and vertical scrolling. Users can find an interesting menu layout and an About page hidden in the menu.

Technology: Readymag is our favorite tool to make bright, unusual projects. It allows designers to create websites without developer involvement.
