“This poster was created in connection with our ongoing series of Hand Made Type Workshops done in collaboration with UCLA Extension. In the spirit of the class, all type was created by hand. In this case we used string, hung through a 40 x 60 black foam-core surface. Once the type was drawn, holes were punched, and we tested various yarns and strings until we settled on this twine. The project entered a new era when photographer Don Miller brought it alive with light.” Various sizes, 4-color, digital.
