“For WIRED, we designed data visualizations to support storytelling or act as stand-alone informational pieces. This particular visualization is about the Miami Heat basketball team. It visualizes how often players shoot from each position on the court, and how many points those shots produced. The result shows that while the number of shots doesn’t differ much, Miami Heat players are more efficient in taking three-point shots.”
