For the Penguin Classic Deluxe Edition, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, I wanted to explore a more feminine look. I tried fashion. What a way to get young women inspired to read the classics. I found that fashion designers envision in 3-D, not 2-D. Then I looked to fashion illustrators. What a pleasure it was to work with master Ruben Toledo and get all his fun and crazed e-mails.
